  • History

This car was driven in the day by independent Al Costner. It remains active in historic racing, driven by its present owner, Gordon Gimbel of Roseville, California.

During the period between 1966 and 1972 the two US auto giants Ford and General Motors came head to head in the US Trans Am series. This rivalry became known as The Pony Car Wars, the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang being the principal adversaries.

    The Scalextric Model

Ideal to race against all of the American Muscle car range including Corvette Stingray, Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang and Ford Torino cars. Both the Camaro and Mustang are equally matched for the new Pony Wars Challenge, as each model is complete with a full-length driver, adjustable traction magnet, sidewinder motor and self-centering guide blade.

This detailed car features adjustable Magnatraction™ positions and easy change pick-ups.

    • Easy Change Pick-ups Replace pick-ups in seconds
    • Magnatraction™ Helps to hold the car on the track
